Meet Lawrence Tang ’25!
Originally from the Washington D.C. area, Lawrence soon fell in love with the Yale Farm (especially the chickens!) after attending several volunteer workdays. As a Chinese-American, food has always been an integral part of how he understands his identity and culture. He is grateful that the farm provides a space to engage with the world of sustainable agriculture and explore firsthand the interactions between local food systems. His favorite part of the Farm is the respite it offers from the daily hustle and bustle of school as well as the chance to get his hands dirty. When he's not at the Farm, Lawrence can be found skating around New Haven or in the pottery studio sculpting fun whimsical creations.
