More about David:
David hails from Montréal, Québec, and is broadly interested in the nonhuman world: the co-constituency of human and nonhuman identity, animal and more-than-human ways of knowing, nonhuman individuality, and entanglement theories of ethics and empathy. He was a 2025 Global Food Fellow, studying the changes facing the beef and dairy industries in Colorado amidst the Colorado River crisis, and is a Law, Environment & Animals Program grantee working on a year-end photo exhibit on farmed animal lives in Connecticut.
