Harvest Pre-Orientation Program 


Every year, incoming first-year students set foot on the Yale Farm, some for the first time, to begin their time as undergraduates. But before they dive into orientation, they ship off to small and sustainable farms across the state to learn more about agriculture and each other, as a part of the Harvest pre-orientation program. No experience farming is necessary —all are welcome.  Students come to the program with a wide range of experiences and backgrounds, but all share an adventurous spirit and eagerness to build lasting friendships.
